In this workshop, Gurwinder will share about Singapore, his journey from growing up in Southeast Asia to moving to the United States, raising a family in central Iowa, and continuing to celebrate his culture. He will explain the significance of the turban in Sikh culture, provide information on the importance of different colors and materials, and demonstrate how to tie a turban. Participants may get to try one on for themselves!
