The Five Animal Exercise, an ancient Qigong practice developed by the renowned physician Hua Tuo over two thousand years ago, mimics the movements of five animals: the tiger, monkey, bear, deer, and crane. Each set of movements is designed to enhance the function of one of the body's five major organs: the liver, heart, digestive system, kidneys, and lungs. These exercises are not only effective for health but also enjoyable to perform and visually captivating to observe.
This workshop can be adapted for all ages.
