Tammra, the founder of DSM Breakerz, a local nonprofit breakdance and hip hop dance company, was born and raised in Des Moines. She graduated from Grandview University with a degree in Business Administration. Growing up dancing inspired her to teach the next generation these energetic, creative, expressive dance styles. Tammra often travels to competitions with her students and brings in expert breakdancers to provide students an incredible variety of learning experiences and opportunities. She’s immensely proud of her son, who is a competitive break dancer. Creating an atmosphere to share compassion, individuality, and new ideas is what drives her to continue to build.
