If you’ve ever watched a British film and wondered what crumpets were, your questions can be answered in this interactive workshop with CultureALL Ambassador Cathy Wadsworth.
Cathy – a culinary artist – was born in Reading, England, and owned a restaurant in Fairfield, Iowa. In this workshop, students will be introduced to different types of grain, the leavening process, available fuel source, and other factors contributing to the art of bread making. The workshop will include sampling crumpets with the traditional English spread “golden syrup.”
Please Note: If you have students with food allergies, please let us know when you book your workshop.
