Tavita Taue’etia is a native of Hawai'i – a true Hawaiian/Samoan and a third-generation fire knife dancer. He began his dance training at the age of ten and began performing professionally at age 14. Before moving to Iowa, Tavita choreographed and performed Hawaiian dance at luaus and celebrations at resorts throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
