Shuang Nozomi Flyr was born in Shanghai and grew up partly in China and partly in Japan. After experiencing the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, she moved to Iowa with her husband and daughter in 2022. Today, she works as a relationship banker with Bank of America. Shuang Nozomi believes in the power of storytelling. For her, stories bring people together, heal our wounds, and help us build communities. She believes we are all storytellers by nature. Everyone has a story worth telling, because to be alive is to have a story to share.
