Mona is a Pakistani Immigrant from the state of Punjab, and has been in the US for over 20 years. She works in local schools as an educator and assistant for teachers and students alike. With passions for volunteering in the community, she dedicates time helping others who are in the shoes she was once in by working as a translator for other refugees who struggle with English.

Mona enjoys expressing her creativity through helping community members plan events like graduations, weddings, and other parties; as well as creating posters, drawing, calligraphy, painting, gardening, and landscaping. She is proudly tri-lingual knowing Arabic, Urdu, and English; and an active member in the Islamic and Pakistani communities. Mona loves sharing Pakistani culture and language as a CultureALL Ambassador.
