Dr. Jacqueline Thompson is a storyteller, dancer, and musician who presents programs in schools, libraries, museums, and communities in Iowa. Dr. Jackie Thompson’s goal is to lift up African and African American culture. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance. Her programs involve a combination of dancing, storytelling, song, rap, and poetry. She is also a rostered artist with the Iowa Arts Council and a certified artist with Character Counts! Through the Arts!
