Participants will be introduced to common foods in the Indian vegetarian diet (rice and legumes) and explore other sources of protein that can be used when meat is not eaten. Participants will learn about different types of curries, spices, etc. used in Indian cooking and the reasons they are used. The session will include samples of foods and plants.
