This celebration of Des Moines’ culturally rich community will be held from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm in the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates at 100 Locust Street in Des Moines.

PARTY ON!

This fun-filled, multicultural night, in celebration of CultureALL’s 10th anniversary, will feature music by DJ Raj, electrifying East-West fusion dancing, delicious Indian-inspired appetizers, sweet delicacies, and a cash bar. Guests will also enjoy Bollywood dance lessons, live classical sitar performances, and the art of traditional Mehndi hand adornment. This ground-breaking event promises to be the highlight of spring 2016 in Des Moines.

MAKE NO SARI EXCUSES:

Guests are invited to wear their finest Bollywood styles (Indian attire optional but enthusiastically encouraged). Tickets are $65/person. All proceeds benefit CultureALL whose mission is leading our community to value our culturally rich diversity. A limited number of tickets are available. A special, star-studded reception for VIP Stars (sponsors) will begin at 7:00 pm. All proceeds benefit CultureALL, a Des Moines based-nonprofit organization that involves Iowans in learning about other world cultures by offering discovery-filled experiences to strengthen understanding and appreciation of each other’s daily lives. It is the only organization in the nation that has recruited and trained nearly 200 local residents—including immigrants, refugees and Iowans from diverse backgrounds—to become CultureALL Ambassadors. CultureALL is the premier provider of multicultural education in Central Iowa schools. Last year, schools using the Connecting Kids and Culture grant funds made CultureALL one of the top five most-requested cultural organizations in Greater Des Moines —along with the Des Moines Performing Arts/Civic Center, Living History Farms, the Science Center of Iowa, and the Blank Park Zoo. Since 2005, CultureALL has positively impacted more than 200,000 students, teachers, and community members in Central Iowa.
