Learn about Chinese culture – and an immigrant’s journey from China to Iowa – through the family story of CultureAll Ambassador Eddie Tsang.
The first part of Eddie Tsang’s story is a personal account of what happened to his family when the Communist Government took over China in 1949. Detailed descriptions of what happened to his parents and his siblings will be shared with the students. The second part will cover his personal experience of being educated in Hong Kong (after his family left Mainland China), and the United States, as well as how Mr. Tsang became a teacher and an American citizen.
CultureALL Ambassador Eddie Tsang still does workshops for CultureALL, but as he no longer lives in Iowa, his availability is limited. We try to book him for enough engagements to keep him busy for a week or more, to make it worth his time to travel.
If you would be interested in engaging Eddie for a program, please let us know as far in advance as possible.
