Students will explore Chinese culture as they learn to play traditional Chinese children’s games with CultureALL Ambassadors Yongmei Zhou and Guifang Xu.
All children play games, but they do not play the same games everywhere you go. Explore the ways Chinese children entertain themselves.
In this workshop, students will participate in traditional games such as “Dragon Chasing Its Tail,” “Clapping Hands,” “Beat the Drum, Pass the Flower,” and “Eagle Chasing the Chicks.” They also will learn the Chinese version of American favorites “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and “Marco Polo.”
