Music is part of every culture. Professional musician Frank Strong presents a sampling of world music from Africa, Australia, Western and Eastern Europe, South America, and the Caribbean Islands, exploring genres of music such as reggae, Cajun, Roma, Latin, and more!
Through this interactive performance, participants will be encouraged to participate by singing and helping to create rhythms. They will learn about the geographic origins of each song and explore how music from one culture can influence other types of music – including the songs that are popular in today’s culture.
