With its unique geographic conditions, Chinese civilization was developed independent of other cultural influence. Additionally, Chinese culture heavily influenced its neighboring countries and regions. It is therefore hard for a western person to understand some of the values and beliefs that Chinese people hold.

In this presentation, Chinese culture will be shared and explored through storytelling. These ancient stories are not only very interesting, but exemplify the essence of Chinese beliefs that are carried today. Discussions will compare the Global East and Global West. The goal is to help participants better understand this ancient civilization and promote harmony in our local multicultural organizations and communities.
